Symptoms of ginger tea side effect
Ginger tea does
not have any serious side effects as, it is difficult to drink too much of it.
Usage of ginger could cause stomach upset or discomfort. Moreover, 4 grams of
ginger in one day sums up to quite a few cups. You won’t experience ginger
overdose by having a few cups of ginger tea, but it may cause some side
effects.These minor side effects of having ginger tea are as follows:

Stomach upsets or gastric
stimulation if taken empty stomach

Diarrhea as it accelerates
passage of food through intestines

Sometimes increased bleeding in
menstruating women

People having gallstones or
other gallbladder diseases should avoid use of ginger

Heart patients under medication
should consult their healthcare provider as ginger may react with such
medicines.
These symptoms may be at times
misunderstood as ginger allergy. But thesedo not amount to ginger allergy. If
you develop a rash on your skin or in your mouth or some discomfort in your
stomach after drinking ginger tea, this may be a sign of ginger allergy.
Therefore, symptoms of ginger allergy are:

Irritation in the mouth or
throat

Stomach discomfort

Difficulty in breathing

These are not all symptoms of ginger allergy. Other
reactions may occur therefore, in such a case immediately seek medical advice.
Though, ginger allergy is quite uncommon and only a few cases have been
reported.
